Server Protection – Damovo partners with Trend Micro
Damovo has recently signed an agreement with Trend Micro to become one of their service partners. Trend Micro Incorporated is a global leader in network anti-virus and Internet content security software and services, thereby helping to protect the essential ICT systems that businesses rely on from the loss of sensitive information or disruptions to their operation. The agreement gives Damovo access to Trend Micro’s full suite of security software products.
Initially, Damovo will offer services based on Server Protect and the OfficeScan™ suite for Microsoft Windows based systems.
Server Protect provides security against Viruses, Trojans and Spyware, and Trend Micro are recognised as the leader in this market by analysts such as IDC. Damovo will initially offer a managed anti-virus and malware service to protect Aastra MX-ONE systems and other telephony and IT applications that are based on Microsoft Windows Server platforms. This service includes any cleaning up of infected systems wherever Damovo has administration rights to do so.
OfficeScan will be used as the basis for services to protect both client PCs and Windows Servers. Damovo will provide services based on OfficeScan for all IT environments.
